17 DIRECTORATE PANAMEÑOS INCRITES TO THE INTERNATIONAL CIVIL FESTIVAL IN GUATEMALA

A total of 17 Panamanian productions with short and feature films, both documentary and fiction, were registered to participate in the Central American Section of the CINE INCENTROAMÉRICA International FESTIVAL INDIVIDUAL INDIVIDUAL, to be held from November 13th to 20th in Guatemala City.

The films of our country will be spotted and evaluated by a film board composed of director Carolina Borrero (Colombia), editor Martín Contreras (Panama) and producer Said Isaac (Panama), who will have in his hands the choice of up to 10 productions that will represent us at the prestigious regional film event.

The films that are chosen will also be part of the program of 14 FESTIVAL FROM CINE CIARO PANAMA 2021, to be developed from September 27 to October 3 in our capital town and that will also offer to the local public a selection of best Central American and international productions that have been awarded in the earlier version of IARO internacionale, with training activities for court filmmakers.

The ICARO PANAMÁ is a co-production of the GECU of the Vicerectory of Extension at the University of Panama and the Foundation for Academic and Audiovisual Arts (FAE), the sponsorship of DICINE of the Ministry of Culture and the collaboration of Casa Comal of Guatemala.
