FESTIVAL FROM CIEN IARO PANAMA 2022

The Press Conference to Announce the details of the 15th Icaro Panama 2022 Film Festival, organized by the GECU of the University of Panama and the FAE Foundation, to be held from October 28 in the provinces of Panama, Chiriquí and Bocas del Toro, was held on October 17, at the Mezzanine of the Ministry of Culture with the assistance of journalists, communicators, special guests, sponsors and middleboards.

At the main table were leading organizers and sponsors, represented by the Minister of Culture, Giselle González and the Fest Producer, Roberto Enrique King, also President of the FAE Foundation and Head of University Cinema. Also represented were the National Director of Cinema (DICINE), Sheila González and the Counsellor at the Costa Rica Embassy, Victor Vega and the Panamanian Justices of the contest, Amargit Pinzón and Tatiana Salamín, among other special guests.

The Icaro Panama Film Festival this year offers 26 films from 9 countries, a round table, three workshops and three contiquatoriums, and is the only film event with the best of Central American cinema in our country and a selection of important international productions, leading to diversity and more cinephyl entertainment options for our public and our own filmmakers with opportunities for training, upgrade and growth.
