A TULLER FUNCTION IN SANTA ANA

The Ministry of Culture and Communal Boards are united to promote audiovisual workshops that preserve the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Panama.

To teach narrative and aesthetic technologies in the field of audiovisual conduct, was the focus of the second workshop "Introduction to Audiovisual Art and Knowledge of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Panama," dictated to 18 young people from the St. Anne's Corregiment, where they were motivated to creatively use cell phone, to create celluletages with themes about the rescue and preservation of Intangible Heritage.

The workshop organized by the National Directorate of Cinematographic and Audiovisual Industry, with the Cultural Heritage Section of the Ministry of Culture and the Santa Ana Communal Board, aims at encouraging youth's participation in activities that promote artistic work and help them to develop their imagination and creativity.

During 3 sessions, taught by the Director and Documentalist Editor Orrun Wagua, Elicethe Buicaga co-ordinator and Photographer Bernie Garrido of the National Cultural Heritage Directorate, participants learned basic technologies to tell a story and to make a one-minute cellumsuit through a mobile phone.

At the end of the workshop, held at the International Cultural Centre of Santa Ana, the Honourable representative Jair Martínez with his team from the Ministry of Culture gave them certificates of participation.
