The SALA VIRTUAL CINE U, a newly inaugurated electronic initiative by the UNIVERSITARIAT CINE at the University of Panama, continues with its activities aimed at leading best from global and national cinema to the comfort of its followers' houses and devices at these times of a pandemic, with the presentation from Thursday 25 to Wednesday 31 March of the cycle LA MuJER EN EL CINE, in collaboration with the Women's Institute of our main centre of advanced studies.

The cycle, designed to greet International Women's Day, includes 14 films, 7 short and 7 feature films, directed by leading international directors from Mexico, Spain, Australia, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Lebanon, France and of course Panama and addressing different stories, realities and circumstances that have been experienced by women from different parts and regions of the world.
