CONVERSING WITH TITO AND MARGOT

The film was shown and talked about as part of the 90-year anniversary of the Faculty of Fine Arts "Titus and Margot and I"a feature film that invites us to look closely at the story of prima ballerina asolutaThe english lady Margot Fonteynand her husband, the Panamanian lawyer and politician Roberto "Tito" Arias.
The film, as its filmmakers explain, does not purport to judge but rather To portray with sensitiarity a story that belongs to another age. "Tito, Margot and I" intertwines biographical with political, offering an intimate look at the relationship between its protagonists while Rescates little known fragments of national history.
Following the projection, the directors Mercedes Arias and Delfina Vidal They shared with the public their personal motivations to tell this story, challenges to production and the warm reception that the documentary has had since its release.
Winner of Fondo Cine 2017 National Competition in the Documentary category, "Titus, Margot and I" had its premiere at 11th edition of the Panama International Film Festival (2022).
The activity, held at Roque Cordero Auditorium of Ciudad de Las Artesand was performed jointly between Centro de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Panama and National Cinematography and Audiovisual Section of the Ministry of Culture of Panama.
