Call for Malaga Talents 2026

The National Cinematography and Audiovisual Management (DICINE), in co-ordinated with the Málaga Festival, convocates young national filmmakers interested in participating in the 2026 edition of Málaga Talent training space to be held as part of Málaga Festival Industry Zone (MAFIZ) in Málaga City, Spain.

The TALENT MAGA is a training space that brings together young professionals from the Latin American and European audiovisual industry. It offers ten days of intensive training divided into three modules ranging from project analysis and the training of new narrative technologies to integration into industry activity (MAFIZ) and the Málaga Festival, to gain a profound knowledge of the processes of financing, distribution, marketing and audiovisual promotion.

The 2026 edition of the MAGA TALENT CAMMUS will be held with face to face from 4 to 14 March 2026 in Málaga, Spain.

Requirements for participation:

• Maximum age:28 years old.
• To have valid passport.
• To have a register of the film industry.
• The mid- and high level of management of Spanish and English languages.
• To have an audiovisual project currently under development and to have its Folder / Dossier with an overview of up to 1 page and its respective information sheet.
• To present a motiational letter with a maximum of a quartilla and explain his interest in participating in this space.
• Availability for activity events.
• A up-to-date living sheet with previous signs of experience in some of the following audiovisual fields: direction, script, production, photo direction, assembly, sound or similar.

To participate you will have to send an email with your up-to-date living sheet, the folder (file) of the project with its overview and information sheet, and the motiational letter to the addressdicine@micultura.gob.pawith the matter:FAMILY FAMILY FAMILY.

The selection process will be conducted by the Málaga Talens team in conjunction with the Panama National Cinema Board and will be taken into account the above-mentioned requirements. The call will be open till Thursday, January 29, 2026 (call closure).

Through this call, the selected filmmaker (s) will have the following benefits:

• Air shuttle to and from Málaga, Spain.

Por part of Málaga Festival Industry Zone (MAFIZ):

• Accreditationto participate in spaces and activities.
• Hosting and feedingcovered during the festival.

Upon his or her return, the select person will have to participate in an educational space with the aim of sharing his or her knowledge.
