FESTIVAL FESTIVAL CULMIN FROM PANAMA

The "Panama Series Festival" successfully held the award ceremony of its sixth edition, an event that recognizes local and international audiovisual talent.

The gala was performed Tuesday, 14 October 2025 at The Herbert Auditorium of the City of Las Artes.

The festival director, Henry Abrego, explain that the initiative came after leading his project "Zonians," a web series, to different international festivals, enabling them to identify the opportunity to create a similar platform in Panama. Currently, Panama Series Festival It has four years of track and six editions performed.

Abrego emphasized that this edition received an excellent welcome from the public and an extensive participation of national and international productionHe also expressed his appreciation for the support of a number of institutions, including National Cinema Bureau (DICINE)that facilitated the conduct of the activity at the City of Las ArtesHe also noted his interest in to maintain the categories that recognize local talents introduced this year and to incorporate new prizesas with Best Edition y Best Soundfor continue to strengthen recognition of Panamanian audiovisual work.

The categories awarded during this issue were: Best Director, Best Panamanian Director, Best Actor, Best Panamanian Actor, Best Actress, Best Panamanian Actress, Best Longfilm, Best National Shortings, Best LATM Shortings, Best Television Pilot, Best Latin American Series, Best Documentary Series y Best Web Series.

That activity was undertaken with the support of Ministry of Culture of Panama, through National Audiovisual and Cinematography Directorate (DICINE) and Ciudad de Las Artes (CdLA).
