INTERNATIONAL SCRIPTWRITING COMPETITION

Another opportunity for writers is that offered by the International Screenwriting Competition (ISM) of the International Filmmaker Festival of New York (IFFNY). Open to writers from around the world, the contest will deliver about $40,000 in its two categories: feature film and short film. Applicants will have to put forward their original short and feature films and an international jury will be in charge of giving 6 awards per category.

The call has several closing dates, with the next 30 September (regular registration) and 30 November (late registration) as shown at the bases of the contest.
