FRAMELINE COMPLETION FUND

Frameline Completion Fund, the financial support fund for the completion of films "representing and reflecting the lives of LGBTQ + communities," receives applications for its next cycle.

"The Fund is open to international applications and offers grants up to $5,000 for the completion of fiction films, documentary, experimental, animated or episodic about LGBTQ + and their communities," they told LatAm Cinema from the Frameline festival, an organisation of this program that has been supporting more than 150 projects since its creation in 1990.

The projects should be at the post production stage or ready to start as soon as funds are available (90 per cent of production should be completed at the time of demand). The organization especially encourages applications submitted by women, people of color, transgender, intersexual, asexual, non-binary, disabled and other underrepresented persons and communities.

Based in San Francisco, Frameline is one of the world's largest and most recognized LGBTQ + film events, an initiative that, in the words of its drivers, "aims to change the world through the power of queer cinema."
