ACAMPADOC Documentary School Announces Generation 2021

The 10th ACAMPADOC announces the proposals and documentary projects selected for its Residency and Camp 2021.
May 15, 2021, LA VILLA DE LOS SANTOS, LS - The 10th edition of ACAMpadOC International Documentary Film Festival, has a new generation of Ibero-American students that will be part of the Special Bicentennial Edition. For this year, the documentary theme is "Constructed Heritage 'in honor of the Bicentennial of the heroic gesture of November 10, 1821 framed at La Villa de Los Santos, central region of Panama.
The online call for training programs at the ACAMpadOC Documentary School closed last April 30 and includes a feature project residence and a new production camp.
Due to persistent health restrictions, the ACAMpadOC residence and camp will be conducted simultaneously, in virtual format from 3 to 17 July, offering an intensive theoretical and practical training that ends with the documentary shooting and world premiere of the short films performed.
This year, the ACAMpadOC Residency benefits 22 (22) documentary feature projects from Panama, Ibero-America and Italy with grants awarded by the Ibermedia Programme. The documentary experience includes intensive tutoring by international experts, master classes, public pitcher of the ACAMpadOC Residency and open lectures shared with the whole community.
The ACAMpadOC International Documentary Cinema Camp benefits ten (10) best documentary short films with support from the National Cinema Directorate of the Ministry of Culture of Panama.
ACAMpadOC is led by INDICRI Foundation, involving hundreds of Panamanian and Ibero-American youth, professionals and communities every year as an active impetus to safeguard the heritage of Panama and the region.
The jobs have been selected from a total of 78 applications: 63 projects for feature films and 15 proposals for short films. The Jury Committee has prioritized the originality of contents, thematic affinity, narrative and potential to generate links with Ibero-American audiences.
In ten (10) years, ACAMpadOC has earned public support with dedicated free contemporary documentary program at his festival. All works produced by ACAMpadOC Documentary School students cross boundaries and expand with the program # CINEALRESCATE, a continuous display and documentary distribution circuit that includes converts and tours with guest filmmakers and experts.
