ACAMpadOC grants film grants through the Ibermedia Programme and the Ministry of Culture of Panama

March 15, 2022, LA VILLA DE LOS SANTOS, LS - The ACAMPADOC Documentary School opens the call period for its residential training program and for its international documentary film camp up to May 1, 2022. Both training experiences offer new panamen and Ibero-American filmmakers an intense training and production that will end with the documentary shooting and premiere of short films made for the headquarters and the world.

TaThe residence, as the Camp, will be held with face to face following the necessary biosecurity protocols, at La Villa de Los Santos from June 7 to June 16, 2022, at the same time as the eleventh ACAMPADOC International Film Festival.

BECAS FOR LARGOMETRAJE PROJECTS

The Programme Ibermean16 (16) ACAMpadOC residential grants are awarded to free-topic development projects that require an effective approach. They are given advice and monitoring individualised by industry experts and have their script rewritten as a cross-sectional element to their training process. Each intermittent conduct a short and public pitcher as a starting point with international markets.

BECES FOR INTERNATIONAL CHANGING OF DOCUMENTAL SCIES

The well-known camp has 12 (12) fellowships for best proposals for documentary short films framed under thematic axis 2022 'The Origin of ritualsThe Commission and the Commission have been following up with their support. National film directive of the Ministry of Culture of Panama.

The topic aims at visualizing documentary stories about rituals that structure the lives of communities and contribute to the construction of their identities. Those interested can investigate events such as: agrarian works, rites of worship and transition, ceremonies of change of season, phases of life, culinary traditions, hunting practices, fishing, collection and so forth.

The training program is led by INDICRI Foundation, involving hundreds of Panamanian and Ibero-American youth, professionals and communities every year as an active impetus to safeguard the heritage of Panama and the region.
